Site Permissions in Comet

Comet gives you full control over what websites can access — from your location and camera to notifications and clipboard permissions.

You can review, allow, or block access for each site at any time.

Key Permission Categories

  • Location: Decide which sites can see your physical location.

  • Camera and Microphone: Manage access to your device’s camera and mic for video calls and recordings.

  • Notifications: Control which sites can send you alerts or pop-ups.

  • Clipboard and File Access: Manage whether sites can read or write data to your device.

  • Embedded content: Adjust behavior for autoplaying videos or picture-in-picture elements.

Tip: Review permissions periodically and only grant access to sites you trust.
